Pricing factors that change your quote
Expected reach
Use a representative average from recent comparable content, not your best viral result.
Format and production
A dedicated video, host-read mid-roll, or dedicated email creates different value and workload.
Usage and paid distribution
Organic posting, brand-paid media, and ads from your creator account are separate commercial rights.
Exclusivity and urgency
Restrictions can block future revenue, while rush timelines compress your production capacity.

Dealberry Creator Rate Methodology
For each low, target, and high band, the engine multiplies expected reach by the approved format CPM and quantity. It then adds production cost and each supported commercial adjustment as a separate line.
Total = (reach ÷ 1,000 × format CPM × quantity) + production + rights + paid media + authorization + exclusivity + scope − explicit discount
Format is already represented in the CPM, so it is never multiplied twice. Market, niche, and engagement remain negotiation context until a reliable source supports a segment-specific numeric adjustment.
Production is excluded from percentage discounts. Money is rounded only at the output stage to avoid false precision. Shared results contain inputs only and are recalculated locally.
Limitations
- Public benchmarks are directional and do not guarantee a brand's budget.
- Perpetual rights, broadcast, out-of-home, uncapped ad spend, and long exclusivity need a custom quote.
- The FX snapshot is a reference rate and excludes bank spreads, transfer fees, and taxes.
- The estimate excludes agency fees, performance bonuses, and payment risk.

Sponsorship rate calculator FAQ
How much should a creator charge for a sponsorship?
Start with average reach multiplied by a format-specific sponsorship CPM, then price production, usage rights, paid media, creator authorization, exclusivity, revisions, and urgency separately. Your final quote should also reflect audience quality and proven results.
Should I price from followers or average views?
Use recent average views, impressions, downloads, or opens. Followers describe potential audience size, but expected reach is closer to what a sponsor is buying.
What is a sponsorship CPM?
Sponsorship CPM is the creator fee per 1,000 expected views, impressions, downloads, or opens. It is a starting point, not a cap or a guaranteed market price.
Are usage rights included in a creator's base rate?
The base rate covers creation and the agreed organic placement. Brand reposting, paid ads, whitelisting or Spark Ads, broad territories, and longer licenses should be defined and priced separately.
How should exclusivity be priced?
Price the category, duration, territory, and realistic opportunities you may lose. This calculator supports directional 30- and 90-day ranges; longer or broader restrictions need a custom quote.
Does Dealberry guarantee these rates?
No. The calculator provides transparent negotiation guidance from public benchmark ranges. Actual rates depend on scope, audience, demand, performance, contract terms, and geography.
